About the artist.

Born in Maidstone, Kent in 1972 Susan now lives in Dubai where she is inspired to paint by her warm and sunny surroundings.
Susan is a self-taught, up and coming artist who is rapidly making a stamp on the art world via social media and word of mouth.
Over the years Susan has taken reference from hundreds of art books that she has found and endless hours reading about different artist's and their techniques on the internet.
She likes to experiment with all kinds of different mediums such as watercolours, acrylics, oils, ink and graphite, often combining the mediums to create stunning pieces of artwork that bear her own unique style.

'Laid Back' - Original Diptych Oil Painting on Floating Canvases.

'Laid Back' is an original oil painting by Susan Brooker, on two floating canvases.

The colours are predominately magenta, white and black, and there is a hint of turquoise in the background too.
The photos do represent the true colours but every computer has slightly different colour settings.
The sides of the canvases are painted black to add to the 'floating' effect.

The size of this diptych artwork is:18 x 24 x 2 inches for each canvas, so when the canvases are hung together the total measurement is 36 x 24 x 2 inches.
The canvases are 'floating' canvases, which means the sides of the canvases go in at a 45 degree angle - Please see photo 4 below.

The painting is signed on the front (only on the right side canvas), varnished and is ready to hang.
The painting will be sent to you as it is and WILL NOT be removed from it's stretchers and sent to you in a roll.
